Step by Step Video

This video walks you through the process, one step at a time. You’ll create an account on our FBI Channeler Portal, Enter your information securely, and then setup an appointment to get fingerprinted at a location close to you.

2	Start The Process Click the link below to go to our FBI Channeler Portal. FBI Channeler Portal You’ll be asked to register an account. Then you’ll fill in your personal information. Then in the payment section, you’ll use your prepaid code from Step 1.

How Long Does It Take?

Expedited

1-2 Days

FBI results typically returned within 48 hours of fingerprinting submission & approval.

FBI + Apostille

7–10 Days

For Apostille services, the process takes about 7 to 10 days after your FBI Background check is returned.

Common Questions

What do I bring to my fingerprinting appointment?

Just two things, a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport) and your QR code on your phone. You do not need to print anything.

What if I can’t find a location near me?

Call us at 213.761.5883 and we will help you find the closest available location.

I can’t find my code. What do I do?

Check your spam folder for an email from MR Fingerprints. Still missing? Call or text us at 213.761.5883 and we will resend it right away.

How will I know when my results are ready?

We will send you an email as soon as your results come in. No need to check back.

What if something goes wrong at my appointment?

If your fingerprints are rejected due to image quality, resubmission is free within 30 days. Call us at 213.761.5883 and we will guide you through it.

I ordered the apostille bundle. What happens after my fingerprinting?

Once your FBI results come in, we coordinate the apostille for you automatically. We will email you when the full package is ready.
